About Me

I am a woman, who has been “AROUND THE BLOCK” a time or two, hence the name of my blog.  This name seemed to fit, since I tell my husband, “I have been around the block a time or two”, meaning ”I have been there, done that, and I know how it turned out then and it will turn out the same this time.”   It’s called experience and learning from your experiences.

I have been a Christian for over 50 years.  My husband and I have been married 57 years.  We have three children, who married wonderful people.  We have three grandchildren - all three are grown.  Last, but not least, we have a 5 year old great-granddaughter.  We love that little girl so much, and get to keep her some.  What a blessing she is.

God has blessed us greatly through the years.  I am not saying there have not been some hard times along the way, but He has seen us through them.  I thank Him and praise Him, for what He has done and for who He is!!!

REASON FOR THIS BLOG:
Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”  Matthew 9:37-38
