God's Approval

For he who serves Christ in these
things is acceptable to God
and approved by men.
Romans 14:18

 

But as we have been approved by God
to be entrusted with the gospel, even so
we speak, not as pleasing men, but
God who tests our hearts.

Am I now trying to win the approval of human
beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people?
If I were still trying to please people, I
would not be a servant of Christ.
